Sometimes the ways we protect ourselves,
can also create distance.

Rigid boundaries can look like:
●Avoiding vulnerability
● Keeping your needs to yourself
● Struggling to trust others
● Feeling emotionally closed off

While these patterns often come from a place of self-protection, they can sometimes lead to feeling isolated or misunderstood.

You’re not wrong for protecting yourself,
you may have just needed safety at some point.

And now, you deserve both safety and connection.

Healing is learning when to open and when to protect. 🌱

History was acknowledged—but the work of healing continues.

On March 25, 2026, the passed a landmark resolution, led by , officially recognizing the transatlantic slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity. With 123 countries in support, the world took a step toward truth.

The vote tells its own story:
● 123 Countries voted YES - the entire 54 member African bloc, alongside Caribbean nations, and countries across Asia and South America.
● 3 Countries voted NO - The United States, Israel, and Argentina voted against the resolution.
● 52 countries abstained— which included 27 European Union members, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Oman.

But recognition is not repair. Words are not justice. And history is not behind us—it lives in our systems, our communities, and our stories.

Recognition matters. But so does accountability. So does action.

At Rooted Together, we hold space for connection, reflection, and collective healing. Because honoring the past means building something better—together.

🌿 Your village awaits.

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to recognize the complexity and depth of women’s lives.

The quiet work.
The visible work.
The personal growth.
The collective progress.

At Rooted Together, we honor every woman navigating her own path and contributing to the world in ways both seen and unseen. 🌱

Today we acknowledge the many journeys women are walking.

Some are healing.
Some are beginning again.
Some are holding space for others while still learning how to hold space for themselves.

International Women’s Day is not about one definition of womanhood — it is about honoring the many ways women exist, grow, and support one another.🌱

International Women’s Day is a moment to pause and recognize the many ways women move through the world.

Different stories.
Different seasons.
Different paths.

Today we honor the women doing the visible work and the invisible work, the women finding their way, and the women helping others find theirs.

Every story matters. 🌱

March is Women’s History Month.

This year’s theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” honors the visionaries, advocates, caregivers, innovators, and everyday leaders creating lasting impact for generations to come🌱

At Rooted Together – Your Village Awaits – we see sustainability not only as environmental care, but as community care. When women lead, families are strengthened, systems are challenged, and villages are rebuilt with intention.

We celebrate women of all races, cultures, abilities, identities, and faiths who are:
● Reimagining what leadership looks like
● Building inclusive and equitable spaces
● Planting seeds today for a healthier tomorrow

May we continue to support women as they lead boldly, nurture wisely, and shape a future where everyone can thrive.

Ending online abuse requires everyone — including men and boys.

Silence enables violence. Speaking out creates change.

Be the voice that says:
🟣 “This isn’t okay.”

Challenge hate. Stand for respect.

Real men are digital allies.

Sharing someone’s image without permission is digital violence.

It’s a violation — not entertainment.

🟡 Respect boundaries
🟡 Protect privacy
🟡 Digital consent matters

Share this to remind others: consent applies online, too.
