Be strong my family don't be afraid, because I am with you. Don't be intimidated; I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will support you with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) The Vigil will continue in Canada we will cover ourself with the blood by wearing red. To God be the glory great things he has done. The lord is my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? The Lord is my life's fortress. Who is there to be afraid of? You will over come.

Breakaway Relief Care's Sharon Joseph and Anthony Makkas holds this Peace walk every single year. This is the 6th annual walk. Several members of Klayton Wynter's family, an outstanding kid from Rexdale who was stabbed by a 14 & 15 year old came out in his memory. The turnout for the student's march on Friday June 10th was great and Saturday June 11th was the community march. The Peace Walk is from Jane and Sheppard right around Driftwood court to Jane and Finch mall. The event was sponsored by York University 105.5FM radio and Jane and Finch Mall. Special thanks to CTV's Tamara Cherry and their assignment desk for the extensive coverage.
