Hi everyone! The virtual game night is TONIGHT at 6:30 to about 7:30/7:45! Please keep an eye out for an email from Xandi. The kids should connect with their TDSB accounts.

This is a great opportunity for the kids to socialize and relax outside the classroom. Online and in-class students are all welcome!

We have some awesome parent volunteers hosting tonight's Google Meets. There will be some age-appropriate Jeopardy-style quiz games and possibly a pictionary-style game as well.

We haven't had a chance to really come together as a community, so this is a opportunity for everyone to get together online for a virtual game night -- we are still ironing out which games, but some of the possibilities we are thinking about is a round or two of Kahoot, a Jeopardy-style quiz game, and/or a Drawasaurus. The games will be age-appropriate and should be fun for all ages!

We will host three Google Meets -- one for SK/Gr 1, Gr 2/3, Gr 4/5. Each room will be hosted by amazing parents who have volunteered. A link will be sent out on Thursday; students will need to log in with their TDSB accounts.

WHO
This is for ALL Broadlands students - both those attending in-person and those who have been doing virtual classes.

Please feel free to pass this to any Broadlands family who may not be on the SAC mailing list. Families are always welcome to hang out with their kids too!

SUGGESTIONS WANTED: 2020-2021 Broadlands Goals and Needs

Mme Edwards has indicated a need for new library furniture this year. We would love to hear your suggestions for other needs for the school as well as any fundraising ideas you may have. Please let us know your thoughts via the link below. At our November SAC meeting next week (meeting notice coming), we will set priorities and discuss how to fundraise and allocate the budget.

A number of Virtual Classrooms with Broadlands students have been affected. A letter has been sent to Education Minister Lecce and executives at the TDSB. We will be updating the letter with more parents names as they come in. If you would like to add your name to letter or receive more information please message us here or email us at broadlandssac2013 at gmail.com and we will put you in touch with one of the parents working on this.
