Stop the New Sex-Ed Agenda (STNSEA) has undergone a big change! Our party founder and president, Queenie Yu, has ended her amazing time with the party.
In 2016, Queenie ran in the Scarborough-Rouge River by-election as an independent. She said she was running not necessarily to become MPP, but to bring awareness to Kathleen Wynne’s s*x ed curriculum. She also ran as leader of Stop the New Sex-Ed Agenda party in the 2016 Niagara West-Glanbrook by-election. In 2017, Queenie, along with Tanya Granic Allen, went on a 17-city tour of Ontario, raising awareness and educating parents on the dangers of the current s*x ed agenda in Ontario’s schools. She appeared in a 2017 interview with Jordan Peterson where they expressed similar concerns against Wynne’s s*x ed. In 2018, she participated in the CityNews 2018 Ontario Election Panel. Most recently, in 2023 under Queenie’s leadership, candidate Tony Walton came in 4th place with 3.3% of the votes in the Scarborough-Guildwood by-election.

We want to thank Queenie for all of the hard work and effort that she has poured into this party and this cause over the years!

Since 2016, Queenie has led STNSEA with courage and integrity. Her work is much appreciated and won’t be forgotten!
Without her, we wouldn’t be where we are today!

Queenie moves on to a position with Hawthorn, a private all-girls school in Toronto.
As we say farewell to Queenie, we welcome incoming President, John Kanary.

John was born in Toronto and resides in Richmond Hill, Ontario. He has a son and step-daughter. John attended the University of Waterloo and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, studying both political science and philosophy. He has worked in the Insurance software industry and later in the investments software industry for over 20 years. John ran as a University-Rosedale candidate for STNSEA in the 2022 election. He is active in his church, has traditional values, and stands strongly for parental rights in our school systems.
We look forward to working with John and are excited for the future of Stop the New Sex-Ed Agenda!
