Today we are back at Monica’s in Little Jamaica starting 1pm, celebrating Black History!

At just 5 years old, yesterday this young queen took the stage and left us speechless. Her performance of “Black Shadow” was a powerful reminder of our journey, the history we carry and the culture we’ve shared with the world. 🌍✨

Through every struggle, our spirit remains unbroken. We are a people of joy, dance, and resilience. Peace and love, NOT WAR, aren’t just what we do; they are who we are at our core.

Let’s honor our roots today and every day. It’s more than a month, it’s our history in the making. ✊🏾🖤

Tomorrow we will continue the history of Black people in Canada🇨🇦 and in Little Jamaica.

As we share this beautiful rendition of the Canadian national anthem, we celebrate the rich legacy of Black Canadians who have helped shape this nation! Even though we are in March, we still celebrate Black History Month because every day is Black history day! ✊🏾🌍

Today was absolutely amazing! Thank you to everyone who showed up and shared in the energy. There wasn’t just live entertainment, the Toronto Pan Afrikan Film Festival also showcased two incredible films that truly moved the crowd!

We’re seeking a dynamic team to handle the planning, coordination, and ex*****on of our 2-day celebration of Caribbean culture. If you have a passion for community and the expertise to manage a large-scale street festival, we want to hear from you!

The Details:

📅 Festival Dates: August 22-23, 2026
💰 Compensation: $28,000

Key Responsibilities:
