Hey Glendonites! With the YFS elections coming up, it’s a good idea to take a look at the available candidates. With this in mind, the Glendon NDP would like to announce our endorsement of the Bloc Glendonois. The NDP has always believed in bringing positive change through democratic means, and the ideas proposed by the Bloc Glendonois will certainly do that. The Bloc Glendonois has a good plan to help Glendon students succeed in their dealing with York University. Weather its getting better shuttle service to Keel campus, expanding YFS services to include Glendon campus, or achieving equal representation for Glendon within the YFS council, the Bloc Glendonois will fight to improve the Glendon experience, and help us all get the best education and services that York can provide. Please consider the Bloc Glendonois for their ideas, their commitment, and despite (or because of) their hilarious name.

A Canada that takes action to help those who are helpless. A Canada that uses messages of hope and positivity to get people involved in their government, instead of using messages of fear and negativity to prevent it. A Canada that values the environment just as much as it values business deals. Lets finish the movement started by Tommy Douglas, the founder of our party, when he introduced our che

Jennifer Hollet reminds us that the NDP not only pays lip service to women's issues and gender parity during Elections, they act:
"Under Tom's leadership, six-out-of-nine NDP House Officers were women, including two deputy Leaders, the Whip and the NDP Caucus Chair.
By contrast, Trudeau and Harper asked just one woman to serve among their 10 House officers. Trudeau chose men for five out of six Liberal House officer positions, and Harper chose men for all four of his. A troubling record for both leaders."
I'm Proud to Campaign With a Leader Who Advances the Equality of Women All party Leaders in this election will -- or at least should -- tell you that they want to see more women in politics, and that Canadians would be better served by a more balanced representation in the House of Commons. But what sets Tom Mulcair apart from Stephen Harper and Justin Trudeau, is that…
