Wexford Heights BIA represents over 250 businesses along the dynamic Lawrence Ave. East between Victoria Park and Birchmount, in Toronto, Ontario.
Wexford Heights BIA was formed in 2004 by Councillor Michael Thompson (Councillor-Ward 37, Scarborough Centre) who felt that there was a need to bring the business community and the residential community together to create a neighbourhood that would be a great place to live, work and play. Scarborough Zero Waste along with Wexford Heights Business Improvement Area will be hosting its annual spring clean-up. Come out and help make your Wexford community cleaner and greener this spring!
The details are as follows:
🗓 When: Saturday, May 16th — 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
📍 Where: Cleaning up along parts of Lawrence Avenue from Victoria Park to Birchmount Road.
📍 Meeting point: 2121 Lawrence Avenue East — beside the Swiss Chalet. Parking available in the Food Basics Plaza.
🧹 Activities: Litter collection and neighbourhood beautification. Volunteers will be assigned sections along Lawrence Avenue.
✨ Students will receive community service hours for participating.

We are excited to announce the return of the Taste of Lawrence Rising Stars Talent Contest 2026! Open to performers from across the GTA, this is your chance to take the stage and shine. Whether you sing, dance, or have a unique talent, we want to see it! 🌟
The Taste of Lawrence Rising Stars contest will take place on Day 2 of the festival (July 4) on the Family Stage from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. We invite you to submit your video audition in the weeks leading up to the event for a chance to compete! 🎤 🎶
Eight finalists will be selected to perform live, with a winner and runner-up announced at the end of the contest. The grand prize winner will earn a Main Stage performance slot on Sunday, plus both winners will receive exciting prizes!
