Red Shirt Day® is only ONE WEEK away! ❤️
Red Shirt Day® is about more than just wearing red. It’s about starting conversations, raising awareness, and taking action toward greater accessibility and inclusion in our communities.
To help get the conversation started, we asked our 2026 Provincial Ambassadors to share what accessibility and inclusion mean to them. Today, we’re hearing from Natalie.
On June 3, take part by wearing red, starting a conversation, and helping create a future with fewer barriers and greater inclusion for people of all abilities.

After years of uncertainty, Rilynn’s family finally received answers about the rare condition affecting her mobility and development.
Now 12 years old, Rilynn loves bubbles, cartoons, water, and spending time with her older sister. But because walking long distances can be difficult, everyday activities like attending school and taking part in outings can be challenging without the right support.
Through Easter Seals Ontario’s Equipment Funding Program, Rilynn was able to access a new specialized stroller that better supports her mobility, safety, and daily needs.
“We’re so thankful to finally have a stroller that fits her properly,” shares her mom, Christine.
The stroller helps Rilynn participate more fully in everyday life, from attending school to taking class trips with her peers, including a recent visit to Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto.
“With the cost of everything going up, receiving the funding brought such a sense of relief to our family,” says Christine.
Thank you to our donors for helping children like Rilynn access the equipment they need to participate more fully in everyday life. 💛

Digital accessibility means ensuring websites, apps and online content can be accessed and used by everyone, including people with disabilities. As technology continues to shape everyday life, creating accessible digital spaces is more important than ever.
