A KEY THAT OPENS THE DOOR TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE! Last month, we proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Bridge House, Horizons for Youth’s very first transitional home! And what a milestone it is! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, including our wonderful friends at we were able to welcome three young people into their new home and take an exciting step forward in our commitment to ending youth homelessness. We are so deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality! But Bridge House is about so much more than having a roof overhead. It is about creating a bridge between emergency shelter and independent living. At Bridge House, our youth can move forward at their own pace, with guidance and support as they prepare for a more independent future. Because having a place to live is the beginning. Having the tools, support, and opportunity to build a life is what comes next. Welcome to Bridge House! Where independence takes root and brighter futures begin.

Shoutout to the incredible team at for rolling up their sleeves and spreading so much love at Horizons for Youth last week!

From painting and raking leaves to assembling hygiene kits, organizing our donations rooms, serving lunch, washing dishes, and even hosting a COOKIE-BAKING WORKSHOP that was a total hit with our youth! You truly did it all!

Your hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped beautify our shelter and create meaningful moments for the young people we support. And we have a feeling those cookies disappeared pretty quickly!

Thank you for showing up with such big hearts and for reminding our youth that their community cares. We are so grateful for your partnership, your dedication, and every single one of you who helped make the week so special!

We are so incredibly grateful to General Mills Canada for their amazing and generous donation of cereal, cake mix, Pizza Pops, crescent rolls, and so much more for our youth! Donations like these go a long way in feeding bellies, bringing smiles, and helping our young people feel supported and cared for. From a quick snack to a comforting meal or something sweet to share, these thoughtful contributions make a real difference in the lives of the youth we serve. Thank you, General Mills, for being such a wonderful community partner and for helping us ensure that our youth have access to food, comfort, and a little extra joy.

As the weather gets colder, a warm and nourishing bowl of soup means so much to our youth. We are incredibly grateful to Eternal Virtue and Soup Sisters for their generous donation of delicious soup to help keep our young people warm, nourished, and cared for.

We are incredibly grateful to for inviting Horizons for Youth to be part of their inaugural Gala last month. It was a beautiful evening celebrating community, connection, and the incredible impact that happens when we come together to support youth.

A big thank you to Generation Capital for helping make our Horizons For Youth Fun Day possible! With your generous support, our youth enjoyed a day filled with a BBQ, delicious gourmet cookies, an ice cream truck, and, most importantly, plenty of fun and laughter.
