It is with deep sadness that we share with you the death of our long-time Friend and Community Supporter of the Swansea Area Ratepayers Association.

Kateryna ‘Kate’ Lawson
April 1,1953 - January 13, 2019

For over 20 years Kate gave of her valuable time to act as Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator, a mine of information on the important social events and development needs of the Swansea neighbourhoods on behalf of the Swansea Area Ratepayers Association (SARA).

She died on Sunday, January 13, 2019 and will be sadly missed by both her immediate family and her extended ‘family’ of friends at SARA. Kate enjoyed baseball, the arts, travelling, tending to her garden as well as her community involvement.

Friends and neighbours may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 2 – 6 p.m. with eulogies at 4:30 p.m.
