HOLY COW Gulf Shore Family...You did it AGAIN!! 🥳
You met the challenge and raised $7488 for the Terry Fox Fountain through the Terry Fox School Run 2026. That is $488 over our goal!!! The Terry Fox Foundation.
Thank you to all students who contributed to this total by asking friends and family to support this cause. Our highest fundraiser is in grade 2 and she raised over $1000!!! 🎉🤩🫶🏻
Thank you to the North Rustico Fire Department who always help to keep us safe with their vehicles and especially their members (Aubry who is always one step ahead of me!) 🚒
Thank you to the Town of North Rustico for lending us their pylons to let drivers know to take caution.
Thanks goes to the Stella Maris/Provincial Credit Union and to the Gulf Shore Community Health Corp. for the water station supplies! 💧
Thank you to our retired teacher friends Heather, Anne-Marie, Paula and Ginny who distributed the water to our runners and walkers.
Thank you to Chantelle McArthur and family who help guide students across the wharf and parking lot. Also to Lee McArthur who took a very cool school photo with his amazing drones!
Thank you to leadership students Myla, Peyton, Capri and Ella who kept things together while kids waited for a bus and encouraged runners along the way with their amazing energy.
Thank you to our own Gulf Shore Home and School who feed us all BBQ'd hot dogs when we return! (They also feed the students breakfast every morning!!)🌭
And thank you to our own GS Staff who go along with 'the plan' every year and make sure everyone runs and walks to the best of their ability and makes it back in 1 piece!!!
Annnndddd thanks to Donna in the office who keeps track of all the donations and all the things that need to be kept track of (thank goodness!!)
The Terry Fox Run is a big deal at GS and we are so humbled and privileged to carry on the now 26 year tradition. 🫶🏻
