Get ready to celebrate Diwali with our newest stamp!

This year’s Diwali stamp features an illustration of a woman’s hands as she strings together marigolds and mango leaves to make a traditional torana.

The elaborate decorations are intended to welcome guests and invite the goddess Lakshmi to bestow good fortune on those who enter. Traditional toranas often include mango-tree leaves, which are believed to ward off negativity and purify the air.

Congratulations to Book Clubs for Inmates, one of the recipients of the 2026 Community Foundation Signature Grants!

The grant will help expand the Children of Inmates Reading Program (ChIRP) to additional federal correctional institutions across Canada, helping incarcerated parents maintain meaningful connections with their children through shared reading experiences that promote literacy, strengthen family bonds and support child well-being.

All funding for the Canada Post Community Foundation is raised through customer donations, employee contributions and the sale of a special annual stamp. Every dollar raised supports grassroots programs benefitting children and youth in the province or territory where funds were raised.
