If you've had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Sarah Kitchen, the owner of One Stop Beauty Shop, you know that she is passionate about supporting the individuals served by CLH Developmental Support Services. As the President of the Board of CLH Foundation and Chair of "the Red Carpet Evening", Sarah is focused on ensuring that every individual has the tools and programs they need to thrive! We asked Sarah what motivates her support:
"One Stop Beauty Shop believes in the power of giving and being a good citizen of your community - and I do, too. I have long supported CLH both personally and professionally, and I am lucky enough to do the good work of CLH Foundation as a member of the Board of Directors.
Instead of talking about why I give to CLH, I would rather talk about what the CLH community has given to me. I have met many wonderful people who make up the beautiful fabric of this community, have been moved by the compassionate care of people supported by the professionals who are passionate about their work, and have witnessed the progress of an organization who ensures equal opportunities for all. The experiences I have gained here are invaluable to me.
In the end, the power of community is why I support CLH."
