Jacqui Waddingham established Chartreuse Creative Designs to offer garden consulting from concept to creation of small distinctive gardens. From planter and container design to small contemporary townhouse courtyards, PNW gardens to Tropical gardens; she ensures that your visions and outdoor living dreams are realized to create a beautiful and functional garden space. Chartreuse Creative Designs aims to work with you to ensure a truly unique and personal garden design. To turn your gardening dreams into reality. Experience shows that structure of any garden is fundamental for year round interest – and plant choice needs to complement the design whilst also reflecting the demands of the site. Jacqui ensures that these elements are reflected in your design. In addition to helping design the actual garden, Jacqui can also make recommendations on items such as water features, sculpture, furniture and planters to ensure your garden fully achieves its potential. Once the design process is completed, Jacqui can follow up with you to provide you with insight on how to maintain and care for your garden.

About Jacqui Jacqui started her garden career by participating in the Vancouver VanDusen Master Gardeners program in 1996-1998. In 2010, she continued her education – studying Garden Design at UBC and received her certification later that year. With a strong knowledge of perennials and shrubs (having worked at a local garden nursery), she takes joy in both designing and working with plants. For over 10 years - Jacqui has been creating, designing and installing small gardens in the Vancouver area, Northshore, Tri-cities, Okanagan Valley and recently in Costa Rica. Her inspirations are drawn from many historical and current garden designers – William Robinson, Beatrix Farrand, Gertrude Jekyl, Rosemary Verey, Penelope Hobhouse and Piet Oudolf. Comments from Jacqui My goal is to harmonize your garden with your home. To provide you a deeper connection and appreciation of your outdoor space - whether your intention is to extend your living space to the outdoors or to create a garden simply for just visual appreciation. I enjoy creating easy maintenance gardens. Starting with good structure by using trees and hedges, adding rock formations or wood elements. By incorporating small trees, shrubs, perennial plants, and grasses, we can achieve gorgeous gardens. Mixing plant textures, complimentary colour tones, and balanced shapes and creating a flowing and meaningful space. Working with the light and soil conditions - you can have a healthy and luscious garden! I like to engage with my clients and I welcome you to be part of the process. There is nothing more satisfying than spending an hour with you at a local garden nursery to discuss and assemble different plant combinations to help you determine what your style and what you want to feel in your garden. I am a gardener by heart. I love plants. I love good design.
