🇨🇦❤️ Tonight was a beautiful reminder of what it truly means to be Canadian.

A heartfelt thank you to Tim Louis for sharing his incredible gift of music with us this evening, singing and playing the piano as we came together in a moment of unity, joy, and belonging.

In a world that can sometimes feel so divided, tonight reminded us that what brings us together is far greater than what separates us.

Being Canadian is more than where we live or the flag we proudly wave. It is about compassion, kindness, inclusion, and standing together despite our differences. It is about making sure everyone has a place where they belong.

Tonight, music brought Canadians together. Different backgrounds, different stories, but one shared sense of community.

That is the Canada I believe in. That is the Canada worth building together. 🇨🇦❤️

🇨🇦 Building a stronger Canada means making life more affordable while building an economy ready for the future.

On September 21, 2026, a major piece of federal legislation was introduced in the House of Commons: Bill C-39, the Building Canada Strong Act.

🏗️ Bill C-39, the Building Canada Strong Act, proposes major changes aimed at getting infrastructure and other major projects through federal reviews faster, strengthening Canadian trade corridors and supply chains, and modernizing protections and labour relations for federally regulated workers. A central proposal is “one project, one decision, in one year,” coordinating federal assessments and permits with the goal of reaching federal project decisions within one year once complete applications and required studies have been submitted.

From lowering costs at the pump to improving how Canada builds, trades and moves goods, these bills could have real impacts on Canadian families, workers and businesses if passed.

A stronger Canada is one that builds for today while preparing for tomorrow. 🇨🇦

☕️ Good conversations build stronger communities.

This weekend, KSH FLA volunteers gathered at Fireside Deli for breakfast, coffee, and an important conversation about what brought each of us to the Liberal Party.

Our volunteers come from different backgrounds and political experiences, including some who previously supported other parties. That made for a thoughtful discussion about our differences, the values we share, and why each person ultimately chose to get involved.

At the heart of it all is community.

We may arrive with different stories and perspectives, but we are united by a commitment to keep showing up, listening, and working for the people of Kitchener South-Hespeler.

Because politics should always come back to the people we serve. ❤️🇨🇦

⛽ Bill C-38 would extend federal fuel tax relief until January 31, 2027, helping local families, commuters, and businesses save money at the pump.

From getting to work to supporting our local economy, every dollar saved makes a difference!

Together, we’re building a more affordable future for Kitchener South-Hespeler! ❤️

What a wonderful afternoon of community, conversation, and connection! ❤️🍁

Recently, members of our Liberal family came together at McLennan Park for our Federal Kitchener South - Hespeler Federal Liberal Appreciation Event.

Surrounded by the energy of families, birthday celebrations, the splash pad, and even a very enthusiastic sack race, we shared great food, plenty of laughter, meaningful conversations, and a challenging Canadian political trivia contest that certainly put our knowledge of our Prime Ministers to the test!

Most importantly, the afternoon reminded us what our movement is really about: people coming together, sharing ideas, building friendships, and working toward a stronger community and a better Canada.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who helped organize this event.

Every successful community is built by people willing to show up and contribute. When we work together, listen to one another, and believe in what we can accomplish collectively, we strengthen not only our riding association but the community we are proud to call home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon special. This is what a community looks like. 🍁

Kitchener South Hespeler was well represented on Wednesday night as we welcomed Rechie Valdez to KW! 🇨🇦

Members of our Kitchener South–Hespeler Federal Liberal Association joined fellow Liberals from across Waterloo Region for a wonderful evening with the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State for Small Business and Tourism.

It was a great opportunity to reconnect with friends from neighbouring riding associations, meet new faces, and enjoy conversations about our communities and the future of Canada.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring Waterloo Region Liberals together for such a great evening!

This morning, we were honoured to co-host a breakfast conversation with Diana Fox Carney and our liberal colleagues.

Events like these are about more than conversation; they are about building connections, supporting local community initiatives, and making sure people feel heard and represented. Strong communities are built when people come together, share ideas, and stay engaged in shaping the future around them.

Thank you to everyone who joined this morning’s discussion and contributed to such thoughtful and meaningful conversations. We remain committed to showing up, listening, and continuing to support the community every step of the way.

A very special thank you to our regional colleagues who helped coordinate this incredible event and to our honoured guest Diana Fox Carney for sharing your unique perspectives and wisdom.
