"Molly goes down the list of the many things wrong with dresses and I definitely indulged myself in that section! But there’s a line about needing pockets “to keep treats in case you find a stray” that I put in to reflect my love of animals and to demonstrate that important part of Molly’s character (and all of my characters, to be honest)."
