We’re celebrating DEI in mainstream film & TV! This year, we’ve seen a major increase in the representation of minorities and it’s amazing to see the diversity and inclusion reflected onto the big screen! DEI in film is important not only for audience members to watch, but for the actors themselves who are gaining a wealth of opportunities to land roles in shows and movies. 🎭 🎬

Canada Day should be a day of reflection as well as a day of celebration. For Indigenous communities, this day represents the inequalities and discrimination they have faced, and still face today. It’s important that we acknowledge Canada’s history and the role its played in the persecution of Indigenous peoples.
