Textile Landscapes: A Video Demonstration with Judy Villett

Judy Ann Villett textile artist exhibiting in Cherry Blossoms: A Textile Translation, shares techniques for creating unique & dramatic textile landscapes live right here on our Facebook!
Join Judy on a pre-recorded studio tour to look at storage, organization solutions & the design wall while she chats about her concepts, how she uses the design wall to compose, & what materials she uses & why. Then Judy will demonstrate creating a landscape using a variety of techniques including: hand & fusible applique techniques, free-motion machine quilting & hand stitching; mounting the piece onto a stretched canvas; finally applying textile paint with a dry-brush technique.
After the demonstration, chat live with Judy & ask questions about her process, techniques & inspirations.
