Rally your friends and family for an energizing morning of movement, connection, and fresh air - all in support of SSOS. Proceeds going towards our ongoing work to help combat the overdose crisis, bring love and in the DTES.

In death , much as in life, those those life your flame illuminated And whom you inspired gather around and come together in Community around you to hold you up to the light
And raise you up to your rightful place in the annals of East Van's cultural mythology.

I've never known a human who more perfectly & consummately embodied the spirit and vision of everything that Street Saviours strives to be than you homie..

Oh VanCity is lonesome for her heroes..
For Trey ofAsh Helten,
For Ryan Vena,
For Angel Gates,
You Thomas Donnahey,
For Bradley Hart,
For her heroes of tireless service and genuine compassion,
Of unaffectedness & disinterested in n self congratulation, but plane spokenly unpretentious affability that was driven by sincerity of motive & driven by helping others
on so many different levels, in every avenue of their personal and professional lives;

Of a clarion genuine voice that was equally comfortable laughing at themselves in an alley of degenerates as unabashedly and with inspiringly articulate conviction
redressing the smug dereliction of duty of a snide public servant.

He vacates a space and leaves us with an absence which itself becomes a presence..
that space call out to us , to me and to YOU to honor his memory and his lived example by striving to hold ourselves up to the same standard that he exemplified himself.
Because in the immortal words of the late Downtown East Side poet laureate Bud Osborne: "For there is no one to care.. / ...if you do not care. "
