Field trips!! On Saturday afternoon PEEC attendees got a closer look at some of Bamfield’s local industry and natural beauty! Learning about shellfish aquaculture and tidepooling at Brady’s Beach. Thank you Nova Harvest for letting us tour your facility!!

Update!! Unfortunately we will not be able to travel to Bamfield via the Francis Barkley ferry, and will instead be driving by convoy from Port Alberni to BMSC. Introducing our other keynote speaker, along with Dr Chelsea Little. We have Dr. Zoe Todd (she/they) joining us on April 1-2. Dr. Todd is an associate professor at SFU in Indigenous Studies. We hope everyone is as excited about Dr. Todd joining us as we are! See you all soon!
