In case you missed it: ICCCVAN President Mike Murphy was the guest speaker at Mayโs Business Breakfast hosted by the Consulate General of Ireland, Vancouver.
Mike shared reflections on his professional journey since moving to Vancouver in 2011, describing his career as a project that is 'always under construction'. He spoke about building a family, community, and career in BC, while also finding ways to build a bridge back to Ireland through projects that give him an excuse to visit home in Kildare!
Thank you to everyone who attended another fantastic morning of conversation and connection within Vancouverโs Irish business community.
The Consulate's Business Breakfast series takes place on the first Thursday of every month from 7:30 - 9am. Registration is free but spaces are limited.
We look forward to seeing you at the next one! โ๏ธ ๐

This weekend, weโll be joining Darkness Into Light Vancouver and weโd love you to join us.
Led here in Vancouver by Kerri McCullagh, Jonathan Ward and Emma Quigley, in partnership with the BC Crisis Centre, this homegrown fundraiser for Pieta has grown into a global movement with more than 80,000 people taking part each year in support of mental health, su***de, and self harm prevention.
The walk will be kicking off from Burnaby Lake Rugby Club at 4.30am. Please arrive for 4am to get t-shirts, welcome speech & safety guidelines for the walk. We'll set out for a 5km sunrise walk that begins in darkness and ends in light.
Now in its 12th year in Vancouver, this event continues to bring people together in compassion and solidarity. All proceeds go to the The Crisis Intervention and Su***de Prevention Centre of British Columbia (Crisis Centre), supporting free, lifesaving services for people across the province.
Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, you will be warmly welcomed.
