We would like to express our sincere thanks to Nunzio Romano and Donald Lazar from Knights of Columbus for donating to Vaughan Public Libraries' Cognitive Care Kits.
Our Cognitive Care Kits is a collection of activities intended for people suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia.
These kits were created by library staff using Dementiability Methods, which is a Montessori-based method of working with people suffering from these diseases.
The purpose of Cognitive Care Kits is to give relatives, caregivers, and loved ones of people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease resources and activities that focus on memory and skill retention.
