🦋 Butterflies in maternelle! 🦋
Mme Amanda’s classes received caterpillars a month ago. The students have been watching them form into their chrysalises and this week they started hatching into butterflies. Yesterday, we released them in our outdoor classroom. It has been a magical time watching this beautiful life cycle! ❤️

✨ Underground Spirit Week! ✨
The staff held an underground spirit week where we had a different theme each day. The students caught on and loved figuring out what was going on!
On Monday, we drank out of anything but a cup. Then it was Tropical Tuesday. On Wednesday, we were VES Secret Service members. And on Thursday, we wore our VES gear and had a picture of our mascot Victorious on our backs. It was a great week! ❤️

To cool down this afternoon, the students had some frozen yogurt treats prepared by Ms. Tracey and Ms. Sheila! ❤️

🦡🐍 Éducazoo 🐢🐭
Last week, a few animal friends came to visit us! The students and staff absolutely loved this interactive and educational presentation from Éducazoo! ❤️

❤️ Ms. Tracey’s Lunch Group! ❤️
The goal of Ms. Tracey’s lunch group is to do things for other people! Look at the girls cleaning the outdoor classroom, organizing the outdoor toys and creating picture frames for older adults attending Dawson! Bravo! ❤️❤️❤️

Our school’s wonderful nurse, Annie, will be available at bgc Dawson this summer! ☀️👩🏻‍⚕️

Our K4s read the story of Ishi - which translates to rock in Japanese. This optimistic little rock character teaches children valuable lessons about self-compassion, choosing happiness, and sharing kindness with others. ❤️❤️❤️
