🏛️ Committee of the Whole — Today

Today's Committee of the Whole meeting begins at 2:00 PM in Council Chambers at Town Office (5021 49 Avenue) and is open to the public and available online.

Please note: the meeting opens with a closed session, so the 2027 budget presentation is expected to start at approximately 2:45 PM.

Mayor Snow along with Parks, Recreation, Culture and Environment Board members were pleased to present Vermilion Pond Hockey with a $1,000 cheque toward new goalie equipment

Soft plastics and foam both go in the bin — with a little prep first ♻️

Flexible plastics → empty. Think bread bags, chip bags, bubble wrap, snack wrappers, cereal liners, overwrap.
Foam packaging → empty, and remove the film wrap + absorbent pads from meat trays.

Reminder: have your bins out before 7:00 AM — collection can start as early as 7:00 AM.

With the mornings getting darker, our bylaw officer is adjusting his hours! Going forward, he'll be out and about from 7 AM — keeping watch around school zones as kids head to class. Please slow down and stay alert 🚸
