If you're raising a child or youth with autism and you've ever lost it and immediately felt terrible, you're not failing. You're dysregulated. And that's something you can actually learn to change.

We're excited to announce that registration is now open for DBT Skills for Parents: Regulating Your Emotions While Parenting Emotional Children — a 10-week virtual skills group facilitated by Jordanna Guida, MSW, RSW at Ascent Clinical Services.

Designed with caregivers of children and youth with autism in mind, this group gives you concrete, evidence-based skills in:

🧠 Mindfulness — staying present when things get hard
🌊 Distress tolerance — getting through the crisis moments
❤️ Emotion regulation — understanding and shifting your own feelings
🤝 Interpersonal effectiveness — responding instead of reacting

This is a small group (max 10), fully virtual, and starts in September. The program is covered under OAP Clinical Core funding.

No prior DBT experience needed. Just bring yourself.
