Congrats to Joelle, and the many incredible teacher candidates honoured at the University of Winnipeg’s Pinning Ceremony this week! 🍎

Teachers shape Manitoba’s future, creating schools where every child feels safe, happy, healthy and supported. We lift up these teacher candidates as they take on this important work!

Our government is proud to work alongside partners like the Manitoba Teachers’ Society to support the people who do this important work, and to make sure all teachers feel valued, respected and heard.

The future of Manitoba is in good hands. 🧡

Today at Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, we honoured the Survivors of the Brandon Residential School — their strength, their stories, their families — and the many children who never made it home.

My deepest gratitude to Chief Jennifer Bone and the community for welcoming us into this sacred space of ceremony and remembrance.

Today and always, we honour Survivors, we honour the children. And we commit to carry their truths forward. 🧡

The official taste test is in… and Café Nul passed with flying colours. 🥐🩷

Small local businesses like this bring so much flavour, creativity and character to our communities.

Shop local. Eat local. And when necessary… taste test local. 😋🧡

It takes a team to do great things - and behind every great school is an incredible team of support staff who make it all work. 🧡

This School Support Recognition Week, our entire government team says THANK YOU to the dedicated support staff who keep our schools safe, welcoming and caring — and who show up for Manitoba kids every single day.

You are at the heart of our schools, and we’re so grateful for all you do. 🍎
