A resume tells you where someone has worked. An interview tells you how they communicate.
The CES Oxford Assessment Centre shows whether a candidate can actually perform the job.
Through structured assessments, workplace simulations, direct observation, and practical exercises, employers gain valuable insight into a candidate's ability to perform, adapt, communicate, work safely, and succeed within the workplace.
This is recruitment beyond the resume.

Candidate Screening
Physical Readiness Assessment
Manual Dexterity & Hand Function Assessment
Manufacturing Mathematics & Measurement Assessment
Accuracy matters.
Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation Assessment
Attention to Detail Assessment
Tool & Equipment Familiarity Assessment
Computer & Digital Skills Assessment
Safety Awareness & Hazard Recognition
Workplace Communication Assessment
Teamwork & Workplace Behaviour Assessment
Structured Pre-Interview

The Assessment Centre provides employers with something a resume alone never can.
Evidence.
Evidence of skills.
Evidence of workplace readiness.
Evidence of safety awareness.
Evidence of communication ability.
Evidence of the physical, technical, cognitive, and behavioural competencies required for success.
The Assessment Centre is more than a recruitment tool. It is a customized talent identification process developed in partnership with employers. Together, we create assessment modules that measure the skills, knowledge, physical capabilities, technical competencies, safety awareness, and workplace behaviours required for success.

From a young man in a suit in 1986 to the face we all know at CES Oxford today — some things don't change, and that's a good thing.

Jeff Surridge has spent 40 years with us, and the group photo may have aged, but the reason he's stayed hasn't: the people, the work, and the community we serve together.

Raise a glass — cheers to forty years, Jeff.
