E-Rozgaar Punjab University Lahore

Earlier today, we gathered at e-Rozgaar University of The Punjab Lahore Lab to celebrate Pakistan Resolution Day.

Ms. Naila Sial Lab Manager this center, started the ceremony with sharing the vision of the event.

Our trainer Mr. Sohaib Javed recited Iqbal's poem and energized the audience with amazing verses.

Assistant Manager Marketing & PR Hassan Mirza explained the vision of the project and how we're empowering the youth.

He explained the concept of "Khirad ko ghulami sy azad kr"

Our student Ms. Maryam sang "Watan Ki Mitti Gawah Rehna" and the audience sang along.

Program Manager Ahmad Islam Syan talked about the role of youth in prosperity of the country and why e-Rozgaar was started.

He shared the success of the project and gave credit to lab staff, trainers, students and core team members for the collective effort and achievements.

He added: "In Sha Allah wo wqt door nae jb ham Pakistan may unemployment ko khtm krny may kamyab ho jayengy"

At the end of the ceremony everyone stood up for Pakistan National Anthem and sang together in one voice.

It was amazing to see the energy of the students and celebrate Pakistan Resolution Day with them

Pakistan Zindabad.

Famous Anchor and Actor Noor Ul Hassan visited today at ERozgaar center Punjab University Lahore.
He showed great enthusiasm and support for the initiative.

Today, on the International Women's Day, e-Rozgaar along with other projects at entrepreneurial wing of Punjab Information Technology Board celebrated the power ladies that are defying odds and making a mark in technological and entrepreneurial infrastructure with their amazing stories.

Ms. Maham Taj Operations & HR Executive e-Rozgaar started the session with introduction to the projects under the Entrepreneurial Wing of PITB and the purpose of today's event.

4 of very successful e-Rozgaar female alumni Wajeeha Sami, Zainab Qamar, Mehreen Sharif and Zunaira Javed participated in a panel discussion about discussing about "Empowering Women in Digital Era" They talked about the odds they fought as women and where they stand now. The panel was moderated by our Lab Manager Ms. Nitasha Noor.

Master Trainer of Content Marketing and Advertising domain Ms. Ayesha Z. Hammaad then took upon the stage and talked about why the women of Pakistan need to contribute to the economy of the country for it's prosperity and success. She interacted with audience and explained the stigmas and fears attached to the concept of marriages with women in Pakistan.

She ended her talk with making the audience say out loud the slogan

"I refuse to surrender"

The enthusiasm of audience was just amazing.

We look forward to empowering the women of Pakistan in the skills of the future and make them able to contribute to the knowledge economy.
