In this article we are being explained why we shouldn’t be allowed to vote while living abroad with 3 arguments :
1. Voting is based on the location you live
2. Canadian laws do not apply to Canadian abroad
3. I’m struggling to see where the writer see an argument on what he said...
Now why we should always work on keeping that right is simple:
1. Voting for the last place you’ve been living in even if abroad still make sens
2. We love Canada for different reason and even if we are abroad we still have bonds to the country and wants what we believe is the best for it
3. We are living abroad which means that we have the best opportunities to see how people live outside of Canada and try to bring the good things we see to our fellow Canadians
In short don’t let that right go ! Register on the voter list —> https://www.elections.ca/content.aspx?section=vot&dir=reg/etr&document=index&lang=e
