Native to Lebanon and celebrated for millennia, the cedar has long represented strength, protection and continuity. Mentioned in ancient texts and cherished across civilizations, it remains one of the most powerful symbols of national identity and natural heritage.

Here in Ariana Park, home to UN Geneva, this remarkable tree offers a quiet reminder that resilience is often steady, patient and deeply rooted. Through changing seasons and changing times, it continues to stand tall — inspiring all who pass beneath its branches.
