📣Join Us for a High-Level Expert Meeting on Trade, Investment, Climate, and Sustainable Development
UN Trade and Development is hosting an Ad Hoc Expert Meeting to introduce its Draft Guides for Mainstreaming and Policies into Nationally Determined Contributions ( ) and gather feedback.
Organized in partnership with the International Trade Centre, this session will explore how trade and investment policies can advance goals, support the implementation of climate plans, and create opportunities in the context of NDCs. The session will also include insights from representatives of The Gambia and Madagascar, sharing their experiences with piloting the Trade Guide.

📅2024: A Year of Impact for UN Trade and Development's BioTrade Initiative!
We’re thrilled to share some of this year’s highlights:
• Organised the 7th BioTrade Congress & the first ever COP16 Trade Day with over 400 participants from 50 countries.
• Hosted 15 events, including four meetings of the Informal Working Group on Trade and Biodiversity Statistics (jointly organised with UNCTAD statistics
• The Principles and Criteria are currently applied in more than 80 countries!

Today, 19 December, UN Trade and Development is joining the celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the Convention on Biological Diversity Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework ( ).
Let us reflect on some interesting facts demonstrating how can promote implementation of the goals and targets and achieve the vision of living in harmony with Nature.

👉🏼 can be part of the solution to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and support the
