Tomorrow Volters from France and Switzerland will be at Plaine de Plainpalais in Geneva from 14 to 18 to campaign for as well as to gather signatures for the Europe-Initiative. Bundesratswahlen 2023 - Unsere Wünsche für die nächste Legislatur
Heute wurde der neue Bundesrat gewählt. Hier sind unsere zwei Wünsche, die der Bundesrat in seiner nächsten Legislatur dringend angehen muss:

🇪🇺 Beziehungen zur EU
Die Verhandlungen beginnen und einen nachhaltigen Vertrag beschliessen, der die institutionellen Fragen klärt und weitere Abkommen ermöglicht.

🌍 Konsequenter Klimaschutz
Bundesrat Rösti hat an der Klimakonferenz COP28 grosse Reden geschwungen, was die Schweiz alles für den Klimaschutz tue. Diesen Worten müssen nun Taten folgen.

Élections fédérales 2023 - Nos voeux pour la prochaine législature
Le nouveau Conseil fédéral a été élu aujourd'hui. Voici nos deux souhaits auxquels le Conseil fédéral doit s'attaquer d'urgence lors de sa prochaine législature :

🇪🇺 Relations avec l'UE
Entamer les négociations et décider d'un traité durable qui clarifie les questions institutionnelles et qui permet de conclure d'autres accords.

🌍 Protéger le climat de manière conséquente
Lors de la conférence sur le climat COP28, le conseiller fédéral Rösti a fait de grands discours sur tout ce que la Suisse fait pour la protection du climat. Ces paroles doivent maintenant être suivies d'actes.

Federal Council elections 2023 - Our wishes for the next legislature
The new Federal Council was elected today. Here are our two wishes that the Federal Council urgently needs to address in its next legislature:

🇪🇺 Relations with the EU
Start negotiations and adopt a sustainable treaty that clarifies institutional issues and enables further agreements.

🌍 Consistent climate protection
At the COP28 climate conference, Federal Councillor Rösti made grand speeches about everything Switzerland is doing to protect the climate. These words must now be followed by action.

The General Assembly of Volt Europa 2023 took place in the beautiful city of Paris. Last weekend, approximately one thousand members from all over Europe came together to elect the new Board of Volt Europa as well as to decide on other important votes like the Moonshot Programme, our policy programme for the European Elections 2024.

We from were also present with our delegation. Together we connected with our European friends at the GA, we networked for more bilateral collaborations and worked on our structures in the Country Council and the incubant Treasurer of Volt Europa paved the way for the next Treasurer, that is also from the Swiss chapter. Congratulations to the newly elected Board of Volt Europa.

We are immensely grateful to be part of this amazing movement that unites us with people from all over Europe to fight for our democracy and our values. A big shout out to our friends from for the organisation of the event as well as to all people that have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, to make this GA possible.
