เนื่องในโอกาสพระราชพิธีมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 4 รอบ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้า ฯ พระบรมราชินี 3 มิถุนายน 2569 นางสาววิมลพัชระ รักษาเกียรติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงซันติอาโก ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศฯ เข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้วางพานพุ่มและเปิดกรวยกระทงดอกไม้ธูปเทียนแพ เพื่อถวายความเคารพเบื้องหน้าพระฉายาลักษณ์ ก่อนอ่านคำกราบบังคมทูลถวายพระพรชัยมงคลแด่ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้า ฯ พระบรมราชินี และนำผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีจุดเทียนถวายพระพรชัยมงคล เพื่อน้อมสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ จากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีได้ร่วมลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคลเพื่อแสดงความจงรักภักดี

On the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 3rd June 2026, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Chile, presided over a ceremony at the Residence of the Ambassador. The function was attended by officials from the Embassy and the Office of Commercial Affairs.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador led the officials in paying respects and offering well-wishing tribute, as well as lighting candles in honour of Her Majesty the Queen. On this occasion, all officials also signed the book of well-wishes for Her Majesty as an expression of profound gratitude for Her Majesty the Queen’s gracious benevolence.

On this auspicious occasion, the Embassy would like to invite members of the Thai community to express their well-wishes to Her Majesty the Queen via the online system of the Bureau of the Royal Household at https://wellwishes.royaloffice.th/home/index/53, available from 1-5 June 2026.

เนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา ๓๑ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๙ เจ้าพระคุณ สมเด็จพระอริยวงศาคตญาณ สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปริณายก ประทานพระคติธรรม ความว่า

“ดิถีวิสาขบูชา คล้ายดิถีประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และปรินิพพานของสมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ได้เวียนมาบรรจบอีกคำรบหนึ่ง จึงควรที่พุทธบริษัททั้งหลาย จักได้พร้อมเพรียงกันประกอบกุศลกิจ กระทำสักการบูชาพระรัตนตรัย ทั้งด้วยอามิสบูชา ทั้งด้วยปฏิบัติบูชา เป็นกรณีพิเศษ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ด้วยการศึกษาพระธรรม ให้สมกับที่ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นสาวก ซึ่งแปลว่าผู้สดับตรับฟังคำสั่งสอนของพระศาสดา

วันวิสาขบูชา เตือนใจให้ระลึกถึงพระประสูติกาลของพระโพธิสัตว์เจ้าชายสิทธัตถะ ซึ่งต่อมาได้ตรัสรู้เป็นพระอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ผู้ทรงพระมหากรุณาโปรดประทานมรรควิธีเพื่อความดับทุกข์แห่งสังสารวัฏ พระอาสภิวาจาของพระโพธิสัตว์ที่ทรงประกาศในวันประสูตินั้นมีความว่า “เราคือผู้เลิศของโลก เราคือผู้เจริญที่สุดของโลก เราคือผู้ประเสริฐที่สุดของโลก ชาตินี้เป็นชาติสุดท้าย บัดนี้ ภพใหม่ไม่มีอีกต่อไป” ทั้งนี้ หากพุทธบริษัททั้งหลายได้พินิจตรึกตรองพระอาสภิวาจาอันองอาจโดยถ่องแท้ อาจสามารถน้อมนำมาเตือนใจตนเอง ให้ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของโอกาสในชีวิตที่ได้เกิดมาเป็นมนุษย์ สามารถพัฒนาตนด้วยความขยันหมั่นเพียร ในอันที่จะสั่งสมคุณสมบัติเพื่อความสำเร็จตามเหตุปัจจัย แล้วจักสามารถนำความสำเร็จที่มั่นใจได้แล้วนั้น ไปยังประโยชน์เกื้อกูลผู้อื่นได้อย่างกว้างขวาง ตามรอยพระบาทของสมเด็จพระบรมศาสดา ผู้ทรงสั่งสมพระบารมีด้วยพระหฤทัยตั้งมั่นมาทุกชาติภพ เท่าทบยาวนานถึงสี่อสงไขยแสนกัป ประเมินนับเป็นตัวเลขคำนวณเหนือคณนา กระทั่งทรงบรรลุพระสัมมาสัมโพธิญาณ เพื่อบันดาลประโยชน์เกื้อกูลสรรพสัตว์ ได้สมพระพุทธประสงค์

พระพุทธจริยาการดั่งนี้ ย่อมสั่งสอนเราทั้งหลายให้ไม่ย่อท้อต่อความเพียรหมั่นสั่งสมกรรมดี แม้มีโลกธรรมนานัปการมากระทบกระทั่ง หากยังดำรงศรัทธามั่นต่ออุดมการณ์อันสุจริตของตนเสมอไป สมด้วยธรรมภาษิตที่ว่า “กยิรา เจ กยิราเถนํ” แปลความว่า “ถ้าบุคคลจะพึงทำความเพียร พึงทำความเพียรนั้นจริง ๆ” จึงขอให้สาธุชนทั่วหน้า จงเพ่งมองความเป็นเลิศในโลกของพระมหาบุรุษตามที่ทรงประกาศไว้ในดิถีเพ็ญเดือนวิสาขะ เพื่อเพิ่มพูนกุศลฉันทะ ก่อแรงบันดาลใจสำหรับสร้างสรรค์ตนเอง เพื่อความเป็นเลิศด้วยบุญกุศล ทั้งทางกาย ทางวาจา และทางใจ ให้ทวียิ่งขึ้นสืบไป

📢Anuncio sobre las nuevas medidas migratorias de Tailandia para ciudadanos de Costa Rica, El Salvador y Panamá

El 19 de mayo de 2026, el Gobierno de Tailandia aprobó cambios en sus políticas de exención de visa y Visa on Arrival (VoA). Entre las principales modificaciones se encuentran:
(1) Se permitirá únicamente un tipo de exención de visa por país o territorio.
(2) Se eliminará la exención de visa de 60 días para los 93 países y territorios que actualmente cuentan con este beneficio, incluido Panamá.
(3) Se modificará la exención de visa de 30 días para turismo y la lista de países elegibles se reducirá de 57 a 54.
(4) Se implementará una nueva exención de visa de 15 días para turismo para 3 países o territorios.
(5) También se reducirá la lista de países elegibles para Visa on Arrival, pasando de 31 a solo 4 países. Esta medida afecta a Costa Rica y El Salvador.

Los detalles y requisitos pueden encontrarse en los anuncios correspondientes del Ministerio del Interior, los cuales serán publicados en la Gaceta Real y entrarán en vigor 15 días después de su publicación.
Las personas extranjeras que ya se encuentren en Tailandia bajo los esquemas actuales de exención de visa, así como aquellos que tengan previsto viajar a Tailandia antes de la fecha de entrada en vigor de esta modificación, podrán permanecer en el país hasta el vencimiento del período autorizado de su estadía. Después de esa fecha, podrán ingresar a Tailandia mediante: (1) los nuevos esquemas de visa; (2) acuerdos bilaterales de exención de visa; o (3) una visa adecuada, la cual puede solicitarse fácilmente a través del sistema e-Visa de Tailandia.

Se recomienda a los ciudadanos con pasaporte ordinario de Costa Rica, El Salvador y Panamá que tengan planes de viajar próximamente a Tailandia mantenerse atentos a la fecha oficial de entrada en vigor de estas medidas.

📢 Announcement on Thailand’s Visa Measures affecting holders of ordinary passports of Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Panama

On 19 May 2026, the Cabinet approved the revision of Thailand’s visa exemption and VoA schemes. These revised measures include
(1) granting only one visa exemption scheme per country/territory;
(2) revoking the 60-day visa exemption scheme for all 93 countries/territories; including Panama;
(3) revising the 30-day visa exemption scheme for tourism purpose and reducing the list of eligible countries/territories (from 57) to 54 countries/territories;
(4) introducing the new 15-day visa exemption scheme for tourism purpose for 3 countries/territories; and
(5) revising VoA and reducing the list of eligible countries/territories from 31 to 4 countries/territories. This applies to Costa Rica and El Salvador.

Details and criteria can be found in relevant Ministry of Interior announcements, which will be published in the Royal Gazette and will take effect 15 days after publication.

Foreigners who are already in Thailand under the current visa exemption schemes and those plan to travel to Thailand prior to the effective date of this revision may stay until the expiry of their permitted period of stay. Thereafter, they may enter Thailand under (1) the new visa schemes; (2) bilateral visa exemption agreements; or (3) an appropriate visa which can be conveniently applied through Thailand’s e-Visa system.

Ordinary passport holders of Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Panama planning to travel to Thailand in the near future is advised to keep updated on the entry into force of such measure.

เมื่อวันที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายอรรถยุทธ์ ศรีสมุทร ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ในฐานะผู้แทนรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวในพิธีเปิด Chile - ASEAN Business Summit 2026 ครั้งที่ 2 ณ โรงแรม Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit โดยมีผู้แทนระดับสูงและคณะนักธุรกิจจากชิลีและประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนเข้าร่วมกว่า 40 คณะ

ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีฯ แสดงความยินดีต่อความสำเร็จของการจัดงานครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2568 ซึ่งมีส่วนสร้างเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจระหว่างชิลีกับอาเซียนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม พร้อมระบุว่า การที่กรุงเทพฯ ได้รับเลือกเป็นเจ้าภาพอีกครั้ง และการจัดงานในช่วงเดียวกับ THAIFEX - ANUGA Asia สะท้อนบทบาทของไทยในฐานะประตูสู่ตลาดอาเซียน และความเชื่อมั่นที่ชิลีมีต่อไทยในฐานะหุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์ของภูมิภาค

ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีฯ เน้นย้ำถึงศักยภาพร่วมกันของไทย อาเซียน และชิลี โดยเฉพาะในสาขาสินค้าที่ชิลีมีความโดดเด่น อาทิ อาหารทะเลแช่เย็นและแช่แข็ง ผลไม้สด ไวน์ และเยื่อกระดาษ ซึ่งสอดรับกับความต้องการของตลาดอาเซียนที่มีฐานผู้บริโภคขนาดใหญ่ โดยมีความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย - ชิลี เป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน ทั้งนี้ ไทยแสดงการสนับสนุนการสมัครเข้าร่วมความตกลงหุ้นส่วนทางเศรษฐกิจระดับภูมิภาค (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership: RCEP) ของชิลี ซึ่งจะเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าที่แน่นแฟ้นอยู่แล้วให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น และการเปิดโอกาสใหม่ให้แก่ภาคธุรกิจของทั้งสองฝ่ายในระยะยาว

On 26 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered remarks on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the inauguration ceremony of the 2nd Chile - ASEAN Business Summit 2026, held at Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit. The event brought together more than 40 delegations of senior representatives and business leaders from Chile and ASEAN Member States.

The Advisor to the Foreign Minister commended the success of the inaugural Chile - ASEAN Business Summit in 2025, which had tangibly strengthened connections between Chilean and ASEAN business communities. He further emphasized that Bangkok’s selection as the host city for the second consecutive year, coupled with hosting the Summit back-to-back with THAIFEX-ANUGA Asia, underscores Thailand’s pivotal role as a gateway to the ASEAN market. It reflects the confidence Chile places in Thailand as a strategic partner in the region.

The Advisor to the Foreign Minister also highlighted the complementary strengths of Thailand, ASEAN, and Chile, particularly in sectors where Chile holds a competitive edge, including frozen and chilled seafood, fresh fruit, wine, and wood pulp — products well suited to meeting the demands of ASEAN’s vast consumer market. He reaffirmed that the Thailand - Chile Free Trade Agreement serves as a vital foundation for deepening economic cooperation between the two sides. Thailand also expressed its support for Chile’s application to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which would mark a significant step toward further strengthening the already close trade relationship and opening new opportunities for the business communities of both sides in the long term.

Ambassador Attends Luncheon Hosted by the President of the Senate of Chile for Female Ambassadors in Chile

เมื่อวันที่ 25 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาววิมลพัชระ รักษาเกียรติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงซันติอาโก ได้เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันซึ่งมีนาง Paulina Núñez ประธานวุฒิสภาชิลี เป็นเจ้าภาพ ณ อาคารรัฐสภาหลังเก่า กรุงซันติอาโก โดยมีเอกอัครราชทูตสตรีจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ที่ประจำการในชิลีเข้าร่วมจำนวน 14 ท่าน

ประธานวุฒิสภาชิลีได้กล่าวต้อนรับและขอบคุณคณะเอกอัครราชทูตสตรีที่เข้าร่วมงาน พร้อมทั้งเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการเปิดพื้นที่ให้สตรีมีบทบาทในตำแหน่งผู้นำในหลากหลายสาขา ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านการทำงานและมุมมองเกี่ยวกับการเป็นผู้นำของสตรีในสังคมปัจจุบัน โดยเห็นว่าการสร้างเครือข่ายและพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างสตรีจะช่วยส่งเสริมให้ผู้หญิงรุ่นใหม่กล้าเข้ามามีบทบาทในระดับนานาชาติมากยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ประธานวุฒิสภายังได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทวุฒิสภาในการพิจารณากฎหมายสำคัญที่ส่งเสริมความมั่นคงและความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชน

On 25 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Chile, attended a luncheon hosted by Mrs. Paulina Núñez, President of the Senate of Chile, with the Group of Female Ambassadors in Chile, at the Former National Congress Building in Santiago. The event brought together 14 female ambassadors.

During the gathering, the President of the Senate warmly welcomed and thanked the ambassadors for their participation, while underscoring the importance of creating spaces for women to take on leadership roles across various sectors. Participants also exchanged experiences and perspectives on women’s leadership in today’s society, highlighting the value of networking and dialogue among women in encouraging younger generations to engage more actively at the international level. In addition, the President of the Senate spoke about the Senate’s role in considering important legislation aimed at promoting the well-being and security of the people.

On this occasion, the Ambassador introduced herself and shared the role and activities of the Royal Thai Embassy, while also exchanging views on diplomatic experiences and approaches to promoting women’s empowerment at both the national and international levels. Discussions also highlighted the importance of cooperation among women in diplomacy in advancing inclusive and sustainable social development.

The Embassy is pleased to have taken part in an initiative that promotes the role of women and strengthens networks of cooperation among women, an issue to which Thailand attaches great importance, particularly in advancing equality, participation, and mutual understanding among nations through the role of women on the international stage.

On 22 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago held a Buddhist chanting ceremony commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, the Queen Consort of His Majesty King Rama VII. The ceremony took place at the Ambassador’s Residence, and was presided over by H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Chile, and attended by officials from Team Thailand, and their spouse. On this occasion, the Ambassador lit incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem and paid respects before the royal portrait of Her Majesty. Thereafter, the Ambassador led all participants in chanting and meditation, guided by recorded Dhamma recitations of “Jinapañjara Gāthā” by the Venerable Phraratvajarasuttiwong (Phra Ajahn Arayawangso), Abbot of Wat Pah Buddhapojhariphunchai in Lamphun Province and Honorable Advisor to the Royal Thai Embassy's Dhamma Diplomacy project.

เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาววิมลพัชระ รักษาเกียรติ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงซันติอาโก ได้ให้การต้อนรับคุณ Jorge Pino Madrid ประธานสมาพันธ์วอลเลย์บอลชิลี และคุณ Marcela Revilloud เจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงานของสมาพันธ์ฯ ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการอำนวยความสะดวกคณะนักกีฬาวอลเลย์บอลหญิงทีมชาติไทย รุ่นอายุไม่เกิน 17 ปี ซึ่งมีกำหนดเดินทางเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน Girls U17 Volleyball World Championship ที่ประเทศชิลีในระหว่างวันที่ 6 - 16 สิงหาคม 2569 นี้

ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการอำนวยความสะดวกและการดูแลคณะนักกีฬาไทย ตลอดจนการความร่วมมือในการจัดกิจกรรมจะที่ช่วยสร้างประสบการณ์ที่ดีให้แก่นักกีฬาเยาวชนไทยระหว่างการพำนักในชิลี โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แสดงความยินดีที่นักกีฬาไทยจะได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันระดับนานาชาติในครั้งนี้ พร้อมทั้งย้ำถึงความพร้อมของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในการให้การสนับสนุนด้านการจัดงานต้อนรับ การอำนวยความสะดวก และการร่วมให้กำลังใจร่วมกับชุมชนไทยให้แก่คณะนักกีฬา เพื่อให้การเดินทางมาแข่งขันในชิลีเป็นประสบการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจ โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ให้ความสำคัญกับการเสริมสร้างมิตรภาพระหว่างเยาวชนไทยกับชาวชิลีและนานาประเทศที่มาร่วมในการแข่งขัน และโดยที่คณะนักกีฬาเป็นนักวอลเลย์บอลหญิงเยาวชนอายุ 14-16 ปี จึงเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการดำเนินการของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เพื่อส่งเสริมศักยภาพของสตรี

ประธานสมาพันธ์วอลเลย์บอลชิลีขอบคุณและแสดงความยินดีที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมให้การสนับสนุนทีมชาติไทย และหวังว่าการแข่งขันครั้งนี้จะเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างนักกีฬาไทยและชิลีรวมถึงจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน

สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอเชิญชวนชุมชนชาวไทยในชิลีร่วมให้การต้อนรับและร่วมส่งกำลังใจเชียร์ทีมนักกีฬาวอลเลย์บอลหญิงทีมชาติไทยในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ โดยจะได้แจ้งรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับการเข้าชมให้ทราบต่อไปนะคะ

On 19 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Chile, welcomed Mr. Jorge Pino Madrid, President of the Chile Volleyball Federation, and Ms. Marcela Revilloud, Protocol Officer, at the Ambassador’s Residence to discuss cooperation in facilitating the visit of the Thailand U17 Women’s National Volleyball Team, which is scheduled to participate in the Girls U17 Volleyball World Championship to be held in Chile from 6–16 August 2026.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on ways to support the Thai delegation, as well as possible activities that would help create a positive and memorable experience for the Thai athletes during their stay in Chile. The Ambassador expressed her delight that the Thai team will have the opportunity to participate in this international competition in Chile and reaffirmed the readiness of the Royal Thai Embassy to support the welcoming arrangements, provide assistance and encouragement together with the Thai community in Chile, in order to ensure a memorable experience during their time in the country. The Ambassador stressed the importance of promoting friendship between the Thai national volleyball team and the athletes from Chile and other countries. Moreover, as the Thai volleyball team are young girls aged between 14 – 16 years, it is an important opportunity for the Embassy to promote women empowerment.

The President of the Chile Volleyball Federation expressed appreciation and welcomed the Ambassador’s support for the Thai national team and hope that the tournament would serve as an important opportunity to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding among young athletes from Thailand, Chile, and other participating countries.

The Embassy would like to invite the Thai community in Chile to join in welcoming and cheering for the Thailand U17 Women’s National Volleyball Team during the competition. Further details regarding attendance at the matches will be announced in due time.
