The Bamenda III water team and the German engineers have indeed made a significant progress on the water supply project. The Dam for the water plant has been completely constructed, this will help store water, ensuring a steady supply for the plant's operations. Appreciation to our partners and the water department team for a job well done.

Bamenda III Council an example to emulate........ The Fon of Bambui and his entourage visit the Bamenda III Council water project. The primary purpose of this visit is to understand the processes, methodologies and technologies that contributed to the success of the water project. This provides an opportunity to learn best practices in safety, construction techniques and management that can be applied to their own water project in Bambui. Seeing a successful project firsthand inspires and encourages the Fon to work in collaboration with the Mayor of Bamenda III Council and the German partners to have good and quality water in Bambui

In the spirit to show case the rich agro Pastoral heritage of the Municipality Bamenda III Council is organising a Mini Agro Pastoral show scheduled for the 13th December 2023 starting 8:30am at the Council premises. Farmers within the Bamenda III Municipality are expected to register at the nearest Agric-Post,Vertiary centers, Sub Divisional Delegation of Agriculture and Rural Development,CEAC Nkwen or Sub Divisional Delegate of Livestock Bamenda III. The population of the Bamenda III Municipality is therefore invited to come and experience the rich Agro Pastoral exhibitions of the Municipality.

In as much as we are focused in developing the Municipality, the Mayor of the Bamenda III Council, Mr Fongu Cletus Tanwe, is concerned in the education of children in the Municipality. Today the 13th of July 2023 120 benches were handed to Government Practicing School Nibung. This project is funded through the Public Investment Budget (PIB). The Head Teacher and other executives present expressed their gratitude to the Mayor and the entire Administration of the Bamenda III Council, and that this will assist in their learning process.

The Mayor for Bamenda III Council was awarded the most Performant Mayor Of the Year 2022 by the Guardian Post. This award took place in Douala at the Somatel Hotel where many officials were invited and other institutions and Mayor Fongu Cletus came out as one of the outstanding Mayors in the Northwest Reg
