Empowering our Farmers!
SOWEDA empowers tomato farmers in Fako Division by providing essential inputs to 30 of them on Friday, October 18th at the SOWEDA Courtyard. These inputs, including fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides, will help boost crop yields and improve farmers' livelihoods. As our Sub-Director for Crop Production, Mr. Teba Abel, remarked, these supplies provide a crucial foundation for thriving tomato farms.

SOWEDA Celebrates Rural Women in the South West Region.
In honor of the 29th Edition of the International Day of the Rural Women, observed globally on October 15th, SOWEDA has supported the incredible and hardworking women in our rural communities. This year, we celebrated in Mambanda, Meme Division, under the theme "Rural Women and Import Substitution: Opportunities and Challenges."
To empower these hardworking women, SOWEDA donated agricultural tools, equipment, and inputs to women’s groups in Mambanda and Buea. They received wheelbarrows, watering cans, cutlasses and bags of fertilizer.
SOWEDA is committed to supporting rural women and their vital contributions to our communities.
