We are pleased to inform you that U.S. Embassy and the American Chamber
of Commerce in Cameroon are jointly recruiting a delegation of
Cameroonian business executives to attend the 2021 International
Franchise Expo that will hold on September 24-25 at the Jacob Javits
Convention Center in New York.

In preparation to this event, we plan to hold a series of seminars in
Douala and Yaounde to provide adequate information to prospective
participants. We also plan to hold one-on-one meetings with
high-net-worth individuals and leaders of business associations.

In this light, I am inviting you to attend the first seminar on Thursday
July 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hotel La Falaise Bonapriso.

As we look forward to recruiting a solid Cameroonian delegation to the

On February 16th - 18th, 2021, the Director General of Taxation(DGT) : Mr Modeste Mopa Fatoing, held two meetings with taxpayers at La Falaise Diamond Bonanjo.

The aim of these meetings was to debate and discuss the Finance law 2021 with the business committee.

AMCHAM was highly represented by members who brought up various tax issues in doing business in Cameroon.

On the 23rd of March, The American Chamber of Commerce hosted the second edition of the Women Empowerment Workshop, with a turnout of almost 100 guests for dinner, it was epic. The occasion was graced by the presence of dignitaries from AmCham Cameroon’s partners and guests .

We had a great debate session with three panelists from different professional backgrounds:
-Dr Vivian Tabod (Feel Good Inside Out) ,
-Mme Patricia Nzondjou (Director of SGS),
-Mrs Fitz Patrick (Ambassador rep, United States Embassy Yaoundé ).They shared personal experiences in their careers, businesses and families, encouraging women to be confident, focused , and hardworking in achieving their goals. (See details www.amchamcam.org)

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the first edition of the Woman of Courage Award 2021.👏👏👏This award is for women who have shown exceptional courage in leadership and women empowerment. It was presented by Mrs Fitz Patrick(U.S Embassy Yaoundé )

Women Empowerment Network Dinner
