Happy Labour Day To All Labourers of Fako East.*

The Honourable Member of Parliament for Fako East Constituency Hon. Findi Stanley on the occasion of the 136th International Labour Day celebrated today May 1st 2022 congratulates the people of his Constituency for their continuous efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the municipalities of Limbe, Muyuka and Tiko. Hon Findi maintains that the Muyuka Municipality needs the support and collaboration of all its people to add steam to the team that is ready to bring development to Muyuka Sub-division.

*Muyuka Council Wishes All A Happy International Labour Day*

Celebrated under the theme, "World of work: combating covid 19, safeguarding jobs and ensuring productivity", the Mayor of the Muyuka Council, Landjinou Lazare on the celebration of the 136th edition of the international labour wishes all staff of the Muyuka Council and labourers in the Muyuka municipality a joyous celebration. The Father of the municipality reminds all to be watchful of the dreadful Covid-19 pandemic and continue to practice safety measures. Mayor Lazare appreciates all who have worked and still work tirelessly to ensure productivity and bring back peace and development to Muyuka Sub-division. He calls on all to remain steadfast, committed, dedicated and patriotic citizens. Happy International Labour Day to us all

The Administrative Management and Stores Management Accounts of the year 2021 has been examined and adopted by the councilors of the Muyuka council following the 1st ordinary session for the year 2022 which held today Friday April 22 2022 at the Muyuka council deliberating chambers.
The Mayor of Muyuka Council, Mayor Landjinou Lazare while welcoming the councilors and all service heads present noted that the Muyuka Council for the year 2021 had a running budget of 1.089.000.000) to enable them in realizing projects for the municipality. A realization rate of 52.34% was gotten as compared to to a 56% in 2020.
Mayor Lazare added that this year witnessed a drop in the council's total revenue due to a fall in C.A.C and local collection. Some projects realized include the construction of 2 blocks of classrooms at GPS Ekona Mbenge, rehabilitation of 4 kilometers of road leading to the Ferry at Yoke amongst others.
The Divisional officer of Muyuka sub-division Tanyi R. Akwo encouraged the Councilors to always have a proper follow-up on the various projects and be actively involved in the running of council affairs.
Hon Findi Stanley, Member of Parliament for Fako East Constituency saluted the efforts of Mayor Lazare and his collaborators and noted that he is the hunting dog who would not relent in his efforts to keep lobbying for more projects for the Muyuka Sub-division. He called on the population of Muyuka to come out in their numbers and add a steam to the team that is ready to bring development to Muyuka Sub-division.
The session came to a successful end as councilors unanimously agreed to work together and take Muyuka Council and the Muyuka municipality to higher heights.
