Le Salon Interprofessionnel de l’Aquaculture du Cameroun (SIAC 2026) ouvre ses portes à Yaoundé

L’Agence de Promotion des Investissements (API) prend une part active à la 2ᵉ édition du Salon Interprofessionnel de l’Aquaculture du Cameroun (SIAC 2026), qui se tient du 1er au 6 juin 2026 au Palais Polyvalent des Sports de Yaoundé.

À travers un stand dynamique et attractif, l’API accueille les porteurs de projets, investisseurs nationaux et internationaux ainsi que les acteurs de la chaîne de valeur aquacole afin de leur présenter les nombreuses opportunités d’investissement qu’offre le secteur au Cameroun, ainsi que les facilités et incitations prévues par le cadre légal en vigueur.

⚽️ Tournoi Inter-Entreprises du Cameroun 2026

L’Agence de Promotion des Investissements (API) a fièrement pris part au match d’ouverture du Tournoi Inter-Entreprises du Cameroun le samedi 17 mai 2026 face à la CRTV, dans une ambiance conviviale et sportive.

L’équipe de l’API a ensuite disputé son deuxième match ce samedi contre CAMTEL, lors d’une très belle rencontre marquée par un excellent esprit d’équipe, du fair-play et une forte détermination de nos joueurs.

Au-delà de la compétition, ce tournoi demeure un cadre de fraternité, de networking et de promotion des valeurs de cohésion entre entreprises camerounaises.

L’API se réjouit déjà de la prochaine rencontre et remercie tous ceux qui soutiennent l’équipe tout au long de cette aventure sportive.

IPA Holds Investment Incentives Awareness Workshop

The Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) on Friday, 8 May 2026 organised an information and awareness workshop at Starland Hotel, Yaoundé, aimed at popularising Ordinance No. 2025/002 of 18 July 2025 on investment incentives in Cameroon.

The event brought together public and private sector enterprises, investors, diplomatic representations, development partners and other stakeholders interested in Cameroon’s investment climate and the opportunities offered under the new ordinance.

Insightful presentations were delivered by a panel comprising representatives from the General Directorate of Customs, the Directorate General of Taxation, and the Investment Promotion Agency, who highlighted the fiscal, customs and administrative incentives available to investors.

The workshop ended successfully with fruitful exchanges, reaffirming IPA’s commitment to promoting investment opportunities and improving the business environment in Cameroon.

Atelier d’information et de sensibilisation sur les incitations à l’investissement au Cameroun

L’Agence de Promotion des Investissements (API) organise demain, 08 mai 2026, un atelier d’information et de sensibilisation au Starland Hôtel de Yaoundé.

Cette rencontre portera sur l’Ordonnance N°2025/002 du 18 juillet 2025 fixant les incitations à l’investissement en République du Cameroun. Elle constituera une plateforme d’échanges et de clarification sur les avantages et opportunités offerts aux investisseurs dans le cadre du nouveau dispositif.

Promoting Decent Work Through Dialogue and Responsibility

In prelude to the 140th edition of the International Labour Day celebration, held under the theme “Social Dialogue and Decent Work: A Factor for Peace, National Cohesion, and the Economic Development of the Enterprise,” the Investment Promotion Agency today organised a conference-debate centred on “Employees’ Rights and Obligations.”

The session brought together members of staff of the Agency, the President of the workers’ syndicate, a legal practitioner, and a representative from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security ( MINTSS). Discussions focused on fostering a balanced understanding of rights and responsibilities within the workplace, as well as reinforcing the importance of constructive social dialogue in promoting a harmonious and productive professional environment.

This initiative underscores the Agency’s commitment to promoting decent work principles and strengthening internal cohesion, in line with the broader objectives of sustainable economic development.

L’Agence de Promotion des Investissements (API) a tenu ce mardi 28 avril 2026, dans la salle de conférence de l’Agence, une conférence de presse consacrée à la présentation de la 5e édition du Cameroon Investment Forum (CIF), prévue du 18 au 20 novembre 2026 au Palais des Congrès de Yaoundé.

À cette occasion, le Directeur Général de l’API a échangé avec les hommes et femmes de médias sur les ambitions de cette nouvelle édition, placée sous le thème : Saisir de nouvelles perspectives, investir dans la stabilité et la croissance : le Cameroun, pôle stratégique de la nouvelle économie africaine.

La rencontre a également enregistré la présence du Directeur Général de l’Annual Investment Meeting (AIM Foundation), partenaire stratégique de l’événement, venu réaffirmer l’engagement commun pour faire du CIF 2026 une plateforme internationale de référence pour l’investissement.

À travers cette rencontre avec la presse, l’API réaffirme son engagement à promouvoir les opportunités d’investissement au Cameroun, à consolider les partenariats stratégiques et à mobiliser les acteurs économiques autour de la réussite du CIF 2026.

The Commonwealth Trade & Investment Summit 2026, organised by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council ( CWEIC) held its fifth edition from 20–21 April 2026 at the city of London’s historic Mansion House. This high-level gathering brought together Heads of Government, Ministers and senior business leaders from across the Commonwealth to deliberate on innovation, investment and global economic challenges.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the Investment Promotion Agency Cameroon organised a dedicated session under the theme: “Invest in Cameroon: Making Exports a Driving Force for Investment and Industrialisation.” During this session, Dr Diane Acha Morfaw, Board Chair of the Cameroon Investment Promotion Agency, highlighted the country’s investment potential, emphasising the importance of export-driven growth as a catalyst for industrialisation, and underscored the range of incentives and reforms implemented to attract and secure foreign investment.

This strategic engagement provided a strong platform to showcase Cameroon’s investment potential, promote export-led industrialisation, and strengthen partnerships with international investors and key stakeholders across the Commonwealth.

Opening new horizons for investments and partnerships

The Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) had the distinct pleasure of welcoming a delegation of Brazilian investors on Friday, 24 April 2026, following their participation at the Economic Forum for Import-Substitution with Latin American Countries (FEIPAL) organised by the Ministry of External Relations in collaboration with IPA.

The delegation was warmly received by the Director General, who highlighted Cameroon’s vast investment opportunities, strategic location, and commitment to creating a favourable business climate for both local and foreign investors.
The visit also provided an excellent platform for fruitful discussions on potential partnerships and strengthened economic cooperation between Cameroon and Brazil.
