5 Minutes of Yoga

During work, one's shoulders unconsciously rise up;
by night, when finally lying down, one realizes the shoulders are stiff and heavy.

The yoga teacher in the video shows everyone how to open the shoulders and relax.
Massage without opening only brings temporary relief;
the truly effective way is to open the shoulders first, then relax them.

Taking five minutes each day — opening the shoulders first, then relaxing them —it is a gentle gift to oneself.

Breathing is the most honest mirror of one's physical condition. In yoga, breathing is not merely "following the movements"; it is an independent practice in itself. In this video, the yoga teacher doesn't teach you difficult poses but guides you to practice a more fundamental and important ability.

The benefits of relaxed breathing
reduces stress, improves focus and sleep,
ctivates the parasympathetic nervous system and enhances mind-body awareness.

Watch Chinese Yoga teacher Youyou (Bhaumi) explaining and demonstrating the benefits of practicing Surya Namaskar. She says, “Surya Namaskar is a twelve-pose series of asanas done together with the breath as flowing movement (Vinyasa). The Sun Salutation was traditionally practiced 12 times, once for each sign of the zodiac, while facing the East each morning as the sun rose. Surya Namaskar movements improve digestion, reduce weight, and promote youth and vitality.

Testimony of a Pranayama practitioner

“Pranayama has helped me heal nearly all the issues in my life.
Over the past 20 years, countless students have also benefited from this practice.
That’s why yoga has become an inseparable part of who I am.
As a Chinese yoga practitioner, I combine yoga with traditional Chinese spiritual practices —
a fusion that feels natural and accessible to many.
We look forward to seeing you healthy and shining. Join us at the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations”.

Your mind has 100 tabs open.
Your breathing is running in the background like an overworked app.

Tonight, slow everything down with a few minutes of Hatha Yoga Pranayama.

This video demonstrates a gentle breathing practice that helps calm the nervous system, improve focus, and bring the body back into balance. No extreme flexibility. No pressure. Just breath, rhythm, and a quiet reset.

In traditional yoga, breath is considered the bridge between body and mind.

Take a deep inhale.
Let the noise settle.
Your body needs a pause.
