Consul General Edna May G. Lazaro of the Philippine Consulate General in Macau attended the luncheon of EU and ASEAN Heads of Mission to the Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions on 29 May 2026 at Zam Zam Restaurant. The event was hosted by H.E. Harvey Rouse, Head of Office of the European Union to Hong Kong and Macau.

CONSUL GENERAL LAZARO JOINS ECONOMY, TRADE AND TOURISM PROMOTION SEMINAR AND COCKTAIL RECEPTION HOSTED BY CHIEF EXECUTIVE SAM HOU FAI

On 28 May 2026, Consul General Edna May G. Lazaro attended the Economy, Trade and Tourism Promotion Seminar and Cocktail Reception held at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The event, hosted by Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai of the Macau Special Administrative Region, gathered Consuls General and representatives from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macau to strengthen cooperation in economic, trade, and tourism development.

The Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR joins the nation in observing 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐁) 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 this May 2026, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 818.

This year’s theme, “Achieving Results through Transparency and Accountability: Towards a More Productive Bagong Pilipinas,” highlights promoting government reforms, collaboration among government agencies and the general public to enhance the ease of doing business in the Philippines.

On Saturday, 23 May 2026, Consul General Edna May G. Lazaro attended the 2025/2026 academic year Graduation Ceremony of the City University of Macau held at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, joining over 2,500 graduates.
