This is the final post for our current fruit tree catalogue with some orphans across a range of species. Please be in touch with any corrections or ideas for new species. The vast majority of our species come from Jesse Blenn in Costa Rica’s Diamanté Valley.

The Arecaceae are moncots, and those with a tree-like form are colloquially called palm trees, and they are mostly restricted to tropical and subtropical climates. Most palms are distinguished by their large, compound, evergreen leaves, known as fronds.
