The best proof of trust is when a customer comes back. 🥃

Two years ago, our customers from Subotica chose a DES Diamond 200 L still and began their journey with our equipment.

Today, that story continues.

After their experience with the first DES still, they placed their trust in us once again and expanded their equipment with another model, a DES 100 L tilting pot still with a 30 L flow cooler.

Two different models, designed for different production needs. The Diamond 200 L offers greater capacity, robust construction and more comfort for intensive work, while the 100 L tilting pot still is a practical solution for smaller batches, with easier boiler emptying and greater flexibility in everyday distillation.

Stories like this are especially meaningful to us when they come from our own city. Even more so when customers return after years of using DES equipment to choose another still.

Tradition, built for greater capacity. 🔥

The DES Diamond 200 L preserves the authentic character of traditional pot distillation while providing the functionality needed for processing larger batches with greater ease.

Its robust construction features a 4 mm electrolytic copper bottom, while all components that come into contact with the raw material are made of copper, supporting a clean aroma and the full character of the distillate.

An electric stirrer, a practical filling hatch and a 4 inch ball valve make filling, mixing and emptying simpler and more efficient. The system is completed by a durable stainless steel cooler.

From Dolno Dupeni, overlooking the beautiful Lake Prespa, comes a wonderful story from our customers.

Mare and Nikola from Villa Prespa chose our traditional 35 litre copper still with solid fuel heating. Some distillation stories begin in large production facilities. Others begin at home, among fruit trees, family traditions and recipes that have been refined for decades.

This photo was sent to us by our customer Dragan Stojadinović and shows his DES 120 L stationary pot still with a 30 L flow cooler, ready for another distillation.

Dragan lives and works in Austria, but always finds time for what he truly enjoys. As he told us, making rakija is not a business for him. It is a hobby, a passion and, in his own words, “rest for the soul.” 😊

His family has been producing fruit brandy for around 35 years in Batovac, a small village near the confluence of the Morava and Danube rivers. They work with their own plums and apricots, producing between 30 and 80 litres per year depending on the harvest. This season brought around 80 litres of double distilled fruit brandy at 48% ABV.

After years of working with a smaller 80 L still, the family chose a DES 120 L model for the next chapter of their tradition.

For us, this is what distillation is really about. Not only equipment and technology, but time spent doing something you love, knowledge passed through generations and the satisfaction of seeing the first drops of a new batch.

This video comes to us all the way from Australia, sent by our distributor Nik Kocoper, and features the DES 1 L Souvenir Still, made in a traditional style for everyone who wants to keep a small piece of distillation heritage close by.

It makes a distinctive gift for distillation enthusiasts, distilleries and business partners, or simply a decorative piece with a story behind it. For an even more personal touch, the wooden base can be engraved with a name, distillery or company logo.

Every weld carries our signature.

These photographs from our production facility capture one of our colleagues during one of the most important stages in the manufacturing of a DES still.

Welding does much more than join individual components. Every carefully executed weld contributes to the strength of the construction, a secure seal, safe operation and long lasting reliability.

There is no room for approximation. This work requires extensive knowledge of materials, a steady hand and complete attention to even the smallest detail.
