The same politicians who claim to stand with Cubans are overseeing policies that terrorize Cuban families on both shores.
They escalate sanctions and threaten war against the island, while in the U.S. their immigration crackdown targets the very people they claim to protect.
Look no further than the numbers: Cuban green card approvals were cut by 99.8%, ICE arrests of Cubans surged 463%, and Human Rights Watch reports that 4,300+ Cubans have been deported to Mexico under Trump (many after decades of living in the United States).
As Cuban Americans, we refuse to let our families become collateral damage in Trump and Rubio’s war on Cuba.

For those of us with family in Cuba, U.S. aggression is not abstract. It is felt in every blocked remittance, medicine shortage, blackout, family separated by U.S. policy, and every threat of military escalation against the island we love.
The Trump administration and figures like Marco Rubio have engaged in economic warfare against Cuba, and now threaten direct military violence. They do this in our name, but they do not speak for us.
Cuban Americans refuse to be used as cover for policies that punish our families.

Cuban Americans say: NO WAR ON CUBA.
After a decades-long siege that has only intensified in recent months, Trump is escalating U.S. aggression against Cuba: expanded military surveillance, criminal charges against Raúl Castro, threats to “do something” about Cuba, and now the deployment of the USS Nimitz to the Caribbean.
When asked about Cuba, Trump said: “Other presidents have looked at this for 50, 60 years, doing something… it looks like I’ll be the one that does it. So I would be happy to do it.”
Figures like Marco Rubio are pushing the same hardline playbook Cuban Americans know all too well: sanctions, isolation, and military pressure under the guise of “freedom.”
But Cuban families should not be made collateral damage in another U.S. campaign of punishment and intervention.
As Cuban Americans, we reject the blockade, regime-change threats, and any manufactured pretext for violence against Cuba.
End the blockade! No war on Cuba!
