Bazı basın yayın organlarında yer alan ve sosyal medya hesaplarında paylaşılan “Türk uçaklarının Yunanistan Savunma Bakanı Nikos Dendias ve Avrupalı bakanları taşıyan uçakları taciz ettiği ve yine Türk uçaklarının Yunanistan hava sahasını ihlal ettiği” yönündeki iddialar tamamen gerçek dışıdır.

7 Haziran 2026 tarihinde Yunanistan-Güney Kıbrıs Rum Yönetimi (GKRY) rotasında uçuş icra eden 6 hava trafiğinden 4’ü Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti (KKTC) hava sahasını ihlal etmiş, bu nedenle KKTC’de konuşlu A/R nöbeti tutan iki Türk F-16 uçağı derhal tedbir amaçlı kaldırılmıştır.

Uçaklar, KKTC hava sahası üzerinde görev yapmış olup GKRY hava sahasını ihlal etmemiş, bahsi geçen trafiklere taciz yapılmamıştır.

Öte yandan, 6 Haziran 2026 tarihinde Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’nın 115’inci Kuruluş Yıldönümü ve “Gençlik ve Havacılık Festivali” kapsamında gerçekleştirilen uçuşların tamamı 2’nci Ana Jet Üs Komutanlığı uçuş bölgesinde icra edilmiş olup; Yunanistan hava sahası herhangi bir şekilde ihlal edilmemiştir.

Uluslararası kamuoyunu manipüle etmek ve provokasyon oluşturmak amacıyla ortaya atılan iddialara itibar edilmemesi önemle rica olunur.

Minister Amcaoğlu attends Ministerial Session in Türkiye

Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu attended a ministerial session on “Green Transformation in Industry: Zero Waste and Circular Economy” held in Türkiye.

Speaking upon his return to the TRNC, Amcaoğlu said participants were informed that green transformation is not only an environmental issue but also a process that influences industrial, technological and economic policies.

Highlighting the TRNC’s renewable energy potential, Amcaoğlu noted that with approximately 330 days of sunshine annually, the country is well placed to contribute to regional energy initiatives.

Amcaoğlu also stressed the importance of aligning industrial development with climate goals adding that cooperation with Türkiye will continue to expand through projects that support both environmental sustainability and regional development.

TRNC National Football Team crowned CONIFA EURO 2026 Champions

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) National Football Team secured a historic victory by defeating Padania 6-1 in the CONIFA European Championship final, at Carate Stadium in Italy.
Following Padania’s goal in the first half of the match, TRNC side regained control of the game.
With goals from Şenol Şöfor, Erhun Öztümer, who netted four times, and Batuhan Calban, the TRNC national team won the match by a historic score of 6–1, becoming CONIFA European Champions for the first time in its history.
