Recently, Gulce joined our Embassy workshop and shared: “I am truly grateful to the U.S. Embassy for bringing us together for the 2026 Bicommunal High School Counselor Workshop. It was a valuable opportunity not only to reconnect with fellow counselors across the island, but also to deepen our understanding of current U.S. admissions practices. One of the highlights for me was connecting live with a U.S.-based admissions officer, who walked us through financial aid processes in detail and answered our questions openly and thoughtfully. Experiences like this strengthen our ability to support students more effectively and remind me how important collaboration and continued learning are in our profession.”
