You are invited to join the 2026 LIKHA Global Business Plan Competition for Land-Based OFWs!

LIKHA Global is a business plan competition organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), through the National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO), to support documented OFWs in developing sustainable livelihood and entrepreneurship plans for their future reintegration in the Philippines.

This 2026, we are inviting OFWs from the Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to take part in the competition and showcase your own business ideas!
✅ Open to active and documented land-based OFWs currently working abroad
✅ Must have at least five (5) years of continuous or accumulated overseas employment experience
✅ Must be an active OWWA member
✅ Must not currently own, operate, or be affiliated with any registered or unregistered business in the Philippines

Each MWO will select one winner who will represent the post in the national round.
• Top 12 Finalists: PHP 100,000.00
The Top 12 finalists will be selected during the LIKHA Global National Business Mentoring Bootcamp in the Philippines.
✈️ For MWO Winners who will participate in the National Business Mentoring Bootcamp, travel, meals, and accommodation expenses related to the bootcamp shall be covered by DMW-NRCO.

To all Basketball, Volleyball, and Billiards team representatives, team captains, billiard players, and committee heads:

Please be reminded to carefully review the jersey reports and player information submitted during registration. The reports provided are based solely on the data encoded by each team upon registration. We highly encourage everyone to verify all details immediately and coordinate any necessary corrections as soon as possible.

In cases where there are missing details, incorrect information, or player replacements on the affidavit, teams may write the name of the replacement player directly on the waiver form and have the new player sign accordingly. The name of the player being replaced should no longer be included. Our team will update the database based on the final signed waiver submitted.

We also encourage all teams and participants to cooperate in completing the waiver requirements, including the use of e-signatures if necessary, to avoid delays in the finalization of records and tournament preparations.

In addition, all team captains and billiard players are requested to provide a valid mobile number and active email address. We have encountered several cases where waivers and official announcements sent through email and WhatsApp could not be delivered due to invalid contact details, such as unregistered WhatsApp numbers or email addresses that do not exist.

⚠️ This serves as the FINAL CALL to update and provide correct contact information to ensure proper communication moving forward.

Please send all files needed for submission and correction of information directly to your respective committee heads. They will coordinate and get in touch with you regarding any updates or concerns.

Should any concerns or issues arise regarding waivers or player documentation, committee heads are advised to immediately coordinate with the organizing committee so that concerns can be properly discussed and resolved.
