Prague Fringe is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year 🎭

Inspired by Edinburgh Fringe, the festival has become a key part of Prague’s international cultural scene over the past quarter century.

From 22–30 May, Malá Strana will host 58 performances from 16 countries, including 20 🇬🇧 shows. Expect theatre, stand-up, music, spoken word and more – all within walking distance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is a day traditionally set aside to honour all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. On this day, people across the nation pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and servicewomen.

This year, Remembrance Sunday will fall on 9 November. The traditional ceremony, which is open to the public, will be held at the Olšany Commonwealth War Cemetery in Prague, starting at 10:50 hrs.

Over its 28-year existence, Prague Sounds has established itself as one of the Czech Republic’s major music events, whose wide-ranging and eclectic programming illuminates the relationships between genres ranging from contemporary classical to jazz, hip-hop, and electronica.

This year, London-based rapper Berwyn, originally from Trinidad, joins the Prague Sounds lineup with his powerful fusion of rap, R&B, and poetry.
