Today, a team of pupils from the Victoria School in Prague gave the Embassy a much appreciated visit. They were eager to know more about Belgium, its abundant culture, its culinary delicacies, and the differences and similarities with the Czech Republic.
The new Deputy of Mission Mr. Adrien Vernimmen and the team of the Embassy were pleased to answer and to show them the daily work of a consulate.
They will present their visit to their fellow schoolmates and we hope many will be tempted to travel to Belgium and experience it by themselves.

| Belgian sports history has been written! 🚵‍♂️ Remco Evenepoel won the Vuelta a España. Belgium is a true cycling nation, but has had to wait 44 years for a new winner of a Grand Tour. Evenepoel is the first Belgian winner of a Grand Tour since Johan De Muynck at the 1978 Giro d'Italia. 🏆 Congratulations, Remco!

La Belgique est une véritable nation cycliste, mais elle a dû attendre 44 ans pour avoir un nouveau vainqueur d'un Grand Tour. The Minister of Interior of Belgium HE Mrs. Annelies Verlinden was in Prague on 11 and 12 July, in order to participate in the informal Council of Ministers for Justice and Home Affairs of the EU.

She visited, on this occasion, the Police Academy of the Czech Republic, located in Prague, where she received a generous welcome, and where she was able to benefit from a presentation and a discussion which greatly interested her. 🇧🇪🇨🇿

Our new award-winning passport A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate Travel & Identity Documents received the "Best New Passport 2022" award at the HSP EMEA (High Security Printing, Europe, Middle-East and Africa) conference in Tallinn.
