Results will be exhibited in Berlin and London and until then we are planning great discussions and mentorship sessions with Animalesque team and our Jury and Board members .

Mission accomplished! A nest has emerged from hard work, collective thinking and local materials. From the bottom-up, our nest started to grow by placing and weaving branches. After 10 days of hard work, the nest felt a bit more like a home to us, and hopefully, it will be home for birds and other animals soon! Let’s bring architecture for co-inhabitation!
Thanks to Floating University, all of our guests that inspired us with talks and field walks. And of course thanks to these year's participants for joining us!

[ a sneak peek! ] In diesem Sommer wird CLIMATƎ CARE die Zusammenhänge zwischen Umwelt, urbaner Praxis und Bildung untersuchen und entwickelt ein Programm für klimapolitische Herausforderungen. Climate Care bringt die positive Haltung des Care diskurses in die Klimathemen ein und befasst sich nicht nur mit Umweltfragen, sondern auch mit den verstrickten sozialen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Klimazonen, die uns heute umgeben. Ausgehend vom Standort und der Situation im Regenwasserbecken wird sich der neu gegründete Floating University e.V. auf das Umweltbewusstsein konzentrieren, indem sich dieser um Beziehungen, Situationen und die Orte kümmert, an denen sich Technologien, Ökologien und Menschen begegnen. Ein vielfältiges Programm wird die breite Öffentlichkeit dazu einladen, den Ort gemeinsam zu erkunden und dauerhafte menschliche, als auch nicht-menschliche Bindungen aufzubauen. Das vollständige Programm wird in Kürze bekannt gegeben. ___ This summer, CLIMATƎ CARE will explore correlations between environment, urban practice and education by devising a programme for climate challenges. Climate Care brings the affirmative attitude of care discourse into climate topics, tackling not only environmental issues, but caring for the entangled social, political and economical climates that surrounds us today. Taking on the site and situation in the water-basin, as a starting point, the newly formed Floating University e.V will focus on environmental awareness through caring for relationships, situations and the places in which technologies, ecologies and humans meet. A diverse programme will invite the wider public to inhabit the site by being together and forming lasting human and non-human bonds. The full programme will be announced soon. Questions? AA Visiting School Berlin- Animalesque is back!

Following an intense period of research that culminated in the first Visiting School project, Animalesque will enlarge its animal’s repertoire from insects to birds researching the creatures that reign trees and skies.

In 2019, we will co-inhabit the water-basin site of Floating University alongside the Climate Care festival program. All activities are open to students and guests.

Around a year ago in june 2018 designers, artists, curators, architects and other businesses moved to the brutalistic concrete terrace building – Lobe Block – in Berlin Wedding –
On the day of architecture june 29th we will celebrate Lobe Block's first anniversary and look forward to showing you around all ateliers and presenting our work in person.

Please join us for drinks, snacks and a curated selection of design products, magazines, graphic designs, architecture projects and much more.
