Grief is inevitable, and so is joy. This workshop invites participants to reimagine grief not as an ending, but as a garden of possibility that asks for patience, care, and attention.

Through de-colonial practices, Afro-futurist imagination, and collective exercises, we will enter new relationships with grief, tenderness, memory, and transformation. Together, we will ask: What can be discovered within our grief, and how can we continue to love ourselves through pain and trauma?

☂️ For SWers and former SWers only (street-based workers, esc0rts, dominas, str1ppers, we**am models, FSSW in a br0thel or other, sugar babies, etc.). All genders welcome. The event is free and in English.

🌱 What are your specific boundaries and needs at work? How to recognize them? How to express them to clients? What to do if they are crossed? Why might we struggle with our boundaries in SW in the first place?

🌱 In this workshop, we will explore these different questions together, use a role-play exercise to practice, and Emilian will share with you the tips they learned developing their own consent practice. They have been facilitating consent workshops for fellow swers for 8 years now, and love to share their knowledge but also always learn something new from colleagues.

🌱 For both newer SWers who want to learn more about the topic and seasoned workers who want to check where they're at in their practice, discover new tips, or have new challenges to reflect on.

🌼Who?: Gia Bruni (They/them) is a full service s3x w0rker, vegan activist and public health aficionado. They have been working in the s3x industry in some capacity for a decade across Europe and North America, as well as actively supporting fellow workers in health and safety regarding our work and beyond.

🌼What?: This is an interactive workshop to help support s*x workers of all specialties in navigating our work during a time where pandemics (ongoing and new) affect our ability to survive, as well as how we are perceived by general society. We will discuss tools to protect ourselves, the rising stigma in disease prevention and how to adapt and thrive.

🌼on accessibility: Masking for this workshop is mandatory, you can bring your own but masks will be provided so no worries if you do not have your own. Please do not come if you have any symptoms of illness. This space is not wheelchair accessible and requires the ability to walk up a few stairs, access to the toilet requires those stairs and some more. This workshop can be made available via zoom if desired.

In meinem Vortrag geht es um die Frage, was passiert, wenn Verdrängungspolitik auf soziale Realität trifft — und welche Folgen Kontaktverbotsverordnungen für straßenbasierte S*xarbeit, Sicherheit und soziale Arbeit haben.

Wir sprechen mit Ragazza aus Hamburg über Stigmatisierung, Unsichtbarkeit, Solidarität und darüber, warum echte Unterstützung wichtiger ist als politische Symbolmaßnahmen.

The workshop will be held by Fiore, a trans nonbinary person with a long experience in facilitating digital security workshops for s*x workers, q***r people, anti-violence shelters, activists and marginalized communities.

Fiore is part of Cypher S*x (cyphers*x.org) - a feminist intersectionalist group of digital protection consultants and activists based in Berlin who would like to support local s*x workers and the radical q***r community at large to help them stay safe in their online and digital life. Cypher S*x believes in a horizontal and participatory approach to digital protection and in a holistic way of securing digital activities based on individual needs and practices.

asked yourself if your private and professional online identities are in
danger of being connected together by others? Do you just want to know
how to stay safe and in control online?

Now more than ever, digital security is incredibly important for s*x workers.

During the workshop we’ll discuss the basics of how we can protect ourselves, our identities, our computers, and our phones when using the internet, social media, messaging apps and other online platforms.
